Student wellbeing is at the heart of AIS. All students at AIS are allocated a wellbeing teacher who the students check in with each day. The wellbeing teacher assists with the delivery of the school values education program which equips students with knowledge and skills to achieve the ideal work-life balance. Our program focuses on thinking healthily, eating well, sleeping well and moving well. The program also looks at important social themes that are necessary for harmonious relationships such as respectful relationships, social justice, ethics and community living.
In addition, students are able to self track using the STEER-tracking system. AIS is one of a few schools in Australia to use this platform that allows student to self-monitor healthy risk taking, trust of others, trust of self and self-disclosure.
