Course Overview
Year 11 at AIS consists of a range of academic and engaging subjects from the wide range of SACE subjects available to students. Year 11 is the first stage of senior schooling in South Australia. It is the aim of this year of study for students to show their agency in choosing subjects, engaging in academic and action-based learning, and gaining strong self-efficacy.
Year 11 subjects are a combination of compulsory and elective learning leading students to be well-rounded members of the global community.

What is SACE?
The South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) is a modern, internationally recognised secondary school qualification designed to equip students with skills, knowledge, and personal capabilities to successfully participate in a fast-paced global society. It is designed to meet the specific academic needs and interests of students, and to develop and prepare them for their future career aspirations.

Entry Requirements
- Successful completion of AIS SACE Preparatory Program; OR Successful completion of Year 10 level of secondary studies with good achievement.
- Academic IELTS 5.0 overall (no band lower the 4.5) or equivalent (International students only)
