Mr Steve Bousfield has a long and distinguished career in education across Australia, China, and the United Kingdom, encompassing senior school leadership, international education, and strategic consultancy. His recent leadership roles include Principal of Trinity College Senior, South Australia, and Foundation Principal of Maple Leaf School – UniSA, a bilingual English–Chinese school established by Maple Leaf Education Systems in partnership with the University of South Australia.
From 2008 to 2016, Mr Bousfield served as Principal of Westminster School, Adelaide, before accepting the role of Co-Principal of Shanghai United International School in Xiamen, China – a comprehensive Year 1 to Year 12 school established by Xiehe in collaboration with the Siming Bureau of Education.
In addition to his executive leadership roles, Mr Bousfield is an experienced Education Consultant specialising in strategic leadership, international programs and collaboration, curriculum development, project and change management, institutional reviews and evaluations, and executive coaching and mentoring. Mr Bousfield is also a Board Member of another prestigious school in Adelaide, contributing his extensive experience to governance, strategy, and institutional oversight.
