YEAR 12 SACE STAGE 2
The South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) is an internationally recognised qualification that creates tertiary pathways for young people. Students entering Year 12 or Stage 2 of the SACE can use this program of study as a pathway to university, the workforce or certificate courses.
Mathematics, English (or English as an Additional Language – EAL), the Personal Learning Plan and a Research Project are compulsory components of the South Australian Certificate of Education at STAEG 1 level.
The Stage 2 SACE course offered at Adelaide International School continues the business focus that commenced at Stage 1. It is specifically designed for students who wish to further explore in more depth, the world of business. Students will develop academic skills and behaviours that will enable them to cope with rigorous courses leading to further study in a tertiary environment.
In Stage 2, the SACE Board will schedule examinations in November/December in the year of study.

- Psychology
- Economics OR Accounting
- Business Enterprise
- Integrated Learning
- Other languages such as Vietnamese or Chinese
- Certificate III in Business (continued from Stage 1)
